Rob cleaned up at Lantacular 3 (a Cincinnati lan competition) as the best all around gamer! He pwned his way to the top in games like Castle Crashers and Halo 3 Deathmatch! I sat down with the defeater of n00bs himself  and got answers to our most burning questions, here’s what he had to say….

Sh00ga – So your trapped on an abandoned island that somehow has wireless and ur fav console, what game are you playing?
Rob -Well since I’m trapped, I would want something with very high replay value…
So Halo: Reach for multi player and Fallout 3 or New Vegas for single player.

Sh00ga – How’d you get into gaming?
Rob - My dad actually lol, he used to always be able to beat me, now I always beat him
There was an actual (brief) time that he could beat me at Halo 1 lol

Sh00ga – Best game of all time?
Rob – I have so many fav’s it hard to choose, but most likely would be Halo 2. I’ve spent soooo much time on it and met some really cool friends from there.. it’s such a good game that you can go back to it again and again.

Sh00ga – Worst game of all time?
Rob - Hmmm I dont think I’ve ever bought a bad game. I always do some research on any game I buy, but there are 2 games I got as gifts I could say are the worst…. Mace Griffins Bounty Hunter: game play wasn’t bad just this one glitch that made me fall through the map every time so I never got to finish the game :/ and Kakuto Chojin: it was a bad fighting game, wasn’t really fun at all. I went to sell it at game stop and they couldn’t take it because it was recalled… apparently it has some satanic song in it lol atleast now its a collectors item!

Sh00ga – Alright big shot… what’s your Xbox LIVE gamerscore look like?
Rob – Right now its 26,940 and will be increasing soon

Sh00ga – Do you consider yourself an achievement whore?
Rob – I don’t, but some of my friends do :/ I just like to do everything in a game.

Sh00ga – Most beloved character and why?
Rob – I could be lame and say master chief, but its a toss up between commander shepard and solid snake cause they’re both badasses!

Sh00ga – Hands down, what’s the most important element a game should have…blood, romance, pixel boobs?
Rob - Gameplay and replay value, I’ll get any game as long as its fun, preferably if I can play with and/or against friends… like Tetris isn’t much to look at, but still fun to play. Aahh, who am I kidding it all about the boobs.

Sh00ga – Whats the story behind your gamertag?
Rob -ViciousMental56, It’s lame, but I kind of just picked two cool sounding words and put them together lol. The 56 is from a one month Halo 2 account that was called iusedialup56k.

Sh00ga – And now the ultimate question… Sony or Microsoft?
Rob - Microsoft.. any good game on the ps3 is also on the xbox, plus there’s XBL so why get a PS3??

Sh00ga - ::Sh00ga looks at Rob in confusion:: “Seriously?…..
Rob - “Yeah..”
Sh00ga - “Let’s continue…”

Sh00ga – What celebrity or historical figure would you love to play against?
Rob – lol I have no idea I guess the creator of MGS4 or DOA.

Sh00ga – What unreleased game are you most excited about?
Rob - All kinds, Halo: Reach, Dead Rising 2, Lost Planet 2 and Crackdown 2… lol its the year of the sequels!

Sh00ga – What do you do while away from the console and pc?
Rob - Work, hang with friends and soon school… you know, the boring stuff.

Sh00ga – What game genre do you excel at?
Rob - I’ve always had a spot for fps and fighters… rts’ are fun, but I’m not the best against others.

Sh00ga – How competitive are you?
Rob – I guess a little when prizes are involved lol, I play games to have fun and relax! I don’t rage yell at people or the tv.
