With tons of  Aion game content on the horizon we felt it was only appropriate to shine some spotlight
on the actual players. We snagged Asmodian players from Aions Triniel server and sat them down for
a Q&A. You may not have had a chance to get to know these players, they’re the ones lurking in the
abyss and sneaking around your base. So without further adieu… I give you Jakkle, Moirae and Jugg,
three level grinding, leet weapon getting, epic mob slaying Aion gamers!

Part Two – Digging Deeper

Shooga – Even the calmest gamer has his or her bad days… ever come close to rage quitting?

Jakkle - Definitely not. The game isn’t real, it’s just pixels, I would not get mad over something that
happens in game. It’s just a game people, stop with the emo rage quits.

Moirae – Yes, I’m not too familiar with faction vs faction games to be honest and I’m use to my guild
just having to worry about and rely on itself. In a game like Aion we need other people to step up as well
as us and that can be very frustrating because people tend to drop the ball a lot. Watching our faction fail
while we as a guild thrive can be very difficult at times.

Jugg -Oh yeah! When I first started I would get get ganked all the time. I got so pissed that I threw my
keyboard at the t.v. and snapped the mic from my headset >.<

Shooga - So leet gear? check!… what are some of your future in-game goals?

Jakkle - Finish off 40 Elite pvp set, somehow acquire 90+ million kinah and the legendary wings.
haha…

Moirae – Only goal I have at the moment is to keep my legion going strong until Aion 2.0 comes out.
People are getting bored waiting!

Jugg -My goal for Jugg is simple… acquire the full fenris gear set and experience Aion Visions
game content.  As for my twink, I’d like an elite gold gear set and for my Daeva Team to to reach the
same standard.

Shooga - In any MMO, you’re only as good as your gear, what was your most difficult piece to acquire?

Jakkle – 50 pvp weapon. It was pretty easy for me to get full fenris and +10 my fenris weapon.
Gear in this game isn’t very hard to acquire anyone can do it, you  just need some time.
Grinding guards for bloods is the easiest way to make money. Multiple people in my legion make 10
million kinah a day farming core and roah.

Moirae – My menotios spear for sure. I did not have a good weapon for the longest time and everyone
knows the drop rates in Aion aren’t the greatest. My legion killed that boss for about 4 months before
that spear finally dropped and to this day it’s still the only one on the server.

Jugg - So far, I would have to say fenris!! I’m 18/30 medals on my pauldron piece. Most people seem
to get frustrated and say fuck it!

Shooga – Aion is heavy on pvp, what do you think about Triniels opposing faction?
Any Elyos you consider a threat?

Jakkle – Triniel server is very slow with PVP… there’s usually groups of Elyos flying around core with
nobody to fight or vice versa. The game is broken PVP wise because it promotes hiding.  Aion needs to
reduce the AP loss, that way people actually worth AP will come out and pvp.

Moirae - To be honest I feel like the Elyos are stronger than us as a faction, but I believe my legion is the
strongest legion on the server regardless of factions. On an individual level I’d have to say “Orz” is a big
threat as he is the top Gladiator on the Elyos side and I’m considered one of the top Gladiators on the
Asmodian side. I feel I have a small rivalry with him along with the leader of his legion “Koneko” who I
believe you also did an interview with haha. The competition is nice but it’s all in good fun.

Jugg - From my experience, I’m more afraid of getting back-stabbed from  my own race than the
opposing faction. Though both Haven and Sunshine legions are really geared out….
(little known fact: Sunshine came from Cabal Online)

Shooga – Besides those pesky pigeons, have you came across any asmo rivals?

Jakkle - I consider there to be four other good sorcs on the server. Burner, Strawcap, Cosmikdebris
and Sevenstar. People don’t realize that playing a sorc takes a lot of skill in high end pvp. Most think
sorcerer is point and mash buttons… It takes forever to set up our high damage and any mistakes
positioning-wise, means a very quick death for us.

Moirae – I consider Baihu to be a rival, he is also considered one of the top Gladiators on the Asmodian
side. I believe I’m better though!

Jugg - Yeah, being as popular/unpopular as I am.. I’ve even had asmos tell me how much they
despise me.  It’s all with the price of fame lol. Am I going to give out names? nah. To put it simple,
there’s good and bad guys on both sides.

Shooga – Heres your chance to rep your guild…. who do you roll with?

Jakkle - Corvus

Moirae - I am the leader of Flawless, the top ranked Asmodian legion in NA/EU.

Jugg - I roll with StatiK, we are a PVP/PVE oriented legion. Myself and Urma offer recruitment to
any players level 20 or higher and help them understand the fundamentals of Aion. When recruits
hit 30 they can choose to graduate and join the Daeva Team and learn how to pvp. We’re 50 members
strong and growing each day.

Shooga – and finally…. NC soft has released some pretty impressive teaser trailers for
“Visions”… though we still don’t know much, what are your thoughts on what you’ve
seen so far?

Jakkle – It’ll drastically improve the game and the ground abyss should help a lot with the pvp shortage.
I think the carebear content they are adding is a waste of time… Pets and other such things, it’s just fluff
for the carebears to be happy about. What Aion really needs to work on is adding more pvp
“battlegrounds” because dredge sucks.

Moirae – The new skills look interesting, I don’t really believe the class balance is where it needs
to be though. I think the ground abyss is a move in the right direction for balance, aerial combat is just
sub-par for melee classes and the new ground abyss fort system seems really fun. I can’t wait.

Jugg - Right now the game isn’t “hard” to level grind. Aion visions has a lot of potential to be great.
The 2.0 trailer was the best game ad I have ever seen.. I’ve watched it nearly 50 times lol. Time will
tell if it lives up to the hype!

Shooga – Moirae, being the Aion vet you are I feel obligated to ask this..
Theres been some heavy flaming going on about Elyos favoritism, Can you weigh in on that?

Moirae - I fully believe there is Elyos favoritism with world bosses and stuff like that. The difference
is actually astounding and I find it hard to understand the reasoning behind making things so much
more difficult for the Asmodians as a race. We’re at a large disadvantage and frankly it’s totally unfair...

Shooga – With that being said, lets end this on a lighter note haha. I’ve heard some pretty
hilarious Asmodian nicknames… whats the funniest one you’ve heard and what do you like
to call the Elyos?

Moirae – I thought “Sun suckers” was pretty funny but normally I call them Pigeons haha.
