With tons of  Aion game content on the horizon we felt it was only appropriate to shine some spotlight
on the actual players. We snagged one of Triniel’s Elyos players and sat him down for a Q&A.
You may not have had a chance to get to know him, but hes the one lurking in the abyss and
sneaking around your base. So without further adieu… I give you Sunshine’s secret weapon, Koneko!

Sh00ga – So first things first…. how’d you get into gaming?

Koneko – I started twenty years ago at the age of three, when my brother put a Nintendo controller
in my hand because I wouldn’t stop crying.

Shooga – Whats the story behind your gamertag?

Koneko – Its just a name, nothing more.

Sh00ga – You knew we were gonna ask.. whats your gaming rig look like?

Koneko - It’s really nothing special, I’m embarrassed to say, but it’s five years old and causing
some major issues for my pvp here and there, however it will be upgraded very soon.

Sh00ga – Best game of all time?

Koneko – Final Fantasy 7, without a doubt… Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is a close second.

Sh00ga – Worst game of all time?

Koneko – Wouldn’t know, I only play what peaks my interest.

Sh00ga – Aside from Aion, What others MMO’s have you played and which has
been your favorite?

Koneko – World Of Warcraft, and FlyFF ( Fly For Fun). I loved FlyFF for it’s close-knit community
and WoW for its ever changing PvP and class specs. In FlyFF I lead a guild much like I do in Aion
(Jade on Kern server, IGN was Kiryu), however Aion takes it to a whole other level.

Shooga – Ever have a WTF! Aion moment? Give us the bad, the good and the funny.

Koneko – Seeing myself being killed in slow motion on Moirae’s (Leader of Flawless, now E-harmony)
PvP video is probably the biggest one so far, next to a ranger with with a +1 Miragent bow hitting me
for a 5.2k Stunning Shot.

Shooga – Even the calmest gamer has his or her bad days… ever come close to rage quitting?

Koneko – Never rage quitting, I’m usually very calm, and I tend to laugh things off as I handle them.
But when people do not listen I am more than willing to rage to get my guild in order.

Shooga – In any MMO, you’re only as good as your gear, what was your most difficult piece
to acquire?

Koneko -Definitely my Anuhart Assassin Leather Gloves, last part of my PvE set.

Shooga – Aion is heavy on pvp, what do you think about Triniels opposing faction?
Any Asmodians you consider a threat?

Koneko – Biggest threat if left alive for me is Natsuki (Ranger), we have such a love hate relationship.
Layesse is my favorite, we had a forty-five minute fight in the core of the Abyss once, with me and him
going in and out of combat until I finally died, about twelve encounters total, I took 3 deaths.

Shooga – Besides those pesky Asmos, have you came across any Elyos rivals?

Koneko - Not really, the only person I would consider a rival would be Fadedsmile, as he is another
very skilled Assassin player.

Shooga – Heres your chance to rep your guild…. who do you roll with?

Koneko – I’m the legion leader of Sunshine. My current static for everything including S Rank DP
would be Alpha (best clicker in all of Aion by far), Komori (no one precast’s dispells like this guy),
Liubu (quiet but skilled and very geared Gladiator. Very modest), Twntykaratgld (Newest member
to the static, very hard worker, also one of my officers in SunShine), Polyhymnia
(PvE Master for sure, He’s already putting together the plans for 2.0 boss farming lol) and myself.

Shooga – So leet gear? check!… what are some of your future in-game goals?

Koneko - Finishing my PvP set and PvE set as well.

Shooga - NC soft has released some pretty impressive teaser trailers for
“Visions”… though we still don’t know much, what are your thoughts
on what you’ve seen so far?

Koneko – I’ve never been one to get caught in the hype, the teaser does look good however nothing
is guaranteed in my eyes until it is right before them.

Shooga – I’ve heard some pretty hilarious Elyos nicknames flooding the Asmo LFG
channel… whats the funniest one you’ve heard and what do you like to call the Asmodians?

Koneko – Well to be quite honest, I don’t really read looking for group chat as its always full of trolls.
They get one of 2 nicknames from me personally, Pro or Baddie lol.

Shooga – Theres been some heavy flaming going on about Elyos favoritism,
Can you weigh in on the Diety bug and other issues?

Koneko – Bugged scrolls you mean? I think its just bad luck to be honest.
It has happened to both sides, so favoritism shouldn’t even be considered a reason.
