The best movie out right now, Predators!  Go now!  I promise it will not disappoint.  If you are a diehard Predator fan or even the typical explosion shoot’em up action fan this movie will certainly fall in your top 3 for 2010.

What Predators does right:

• Constant action from the very first scene to the last.
• High-profile cast, each fitting their expected role to perfection.  A side note to that is of the main character played by Adrian Brody.  He plays a vastly different role than of his previous wimpier personae.  But follows through flawlessly.
• The predators in the movie do everything you love, but also bring some new tricks to the table.
• Lore of the predators race is given some details throughout the movie.
• The slow parts are not slow; but rather, funny or build the suspense.
• The environment is memorable of the first Predator movie; yet, completely different.
• Some plot points recap on happenings from the first film (‘87).
• Exploding bodies, sword fights, booby traps, and even an old mortal kombat fatality thrown in for giggles.
• Plot twists including a great climatic twist before the conclusion.
• There is the prey and there are Predators.  Without previous branding of these lovable aliens this movie could still be dubbed Predators.

What could have been better?

Nothing, lol yeah you probably expected that after the long bulleted fanboy list… but the things I’ve heard from others did not bother me at all.  Those being that Brody’s voice was too fake, I felt he did an incredible job.  He played a tough guy but his scrawny size made him seem more beatable than that of Arnold’s character from the original.  He had to outsmart more than over power to stay alive.  I’ve also heard complaints about the ending seeming to be cut short or hanging.  To address those comments… COMMON!  Who doesn’t want a sequel?

This movie kicked ass, go bum some money from your mum.  Just tell her it’s for food, drugs or hospital bills that usually works…
